It's the busiest and priciest stretch — but here's our edge: even at peak summer, Fort Morgan's beaches stay way emptier than Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. You get high-season sunshine with low-season elbow room. Book early, though. Summer goes fast out here.

Fall (September–October): The locals' secret

Ask anyone who comes back every year and they'll tell you fall's the sweet spot. The water's still warm from summer, the crowds evaporate, the light turns golden, and rates settle down. You can still very much swim. The whole coast kind of exhales.

Winter (November–February): Quiet and budget friendly

Everything goes peaceful and prices bottom out. It's not always swimsuit weather, but it's perfect for long empty-beach walks, some of the best fishing of the year, and total solitude. This is snowbird season — a lot of places, ours included, do monthly rates for longer winter stays.
